Dombrowski-Dosson Wedding

Katie and Decker have had a whirl wind few months. Decker proposed to Katie under the stars in early Fall. I met up with them in late October to do their engagement photos and a short two months later they would be married. They pulled it off... with a lot of help from family and friends.

The day started out with Katie getting her hair done at Shear Wonders with Fortney Ward. Fortney also happens to be the wedding coordinator and also made the beautiful wedding cake and all the decorations.

Katie must have been running a little late to get to Fortney's, and thankfully the nice police officer let her go on a warning when he saw her "bride" pin on her jacket. That same police officer was very gracious today when I was on my way to Fortney's for a hair cut. Please take note:: If you ever go to Fortney's to get your hair done, DON'T SPEED down her road!!

Check out her ring.... is it not the most gorgeous thing ever?!?! I noticed she wore a beautiful blue stone ring on her right hand and I asked her if it was her "something blue". She said yes. Evalynn (Forntey's mom) asked her what her "something borrowed" was. Katie didn't have anything. So Evalynn went on a hunt to find her something. When she emerged from the other room she brought along a cute little cowboy boot charm and said she can pin it to her panties and borrow it from Fortney... You'll never guess where Forntey got it from...the bouquet she carried as a bridesmaid in MY wedding... 10 years ago! I honestly couldn't believe she still had it, but it was perfect for Katie's wedding!

After hair and makeup it was off to The Golden Glow Ballroom. I arrived before most every one and was able to get some photos of the amazing decorations all set up and ready to go. Fortney was also responsilble for handing all of this... she is one talented woman!

The rest of the wedding was absolutely beautiful as well. Everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves and had a great time. The Maid of Honor stated in her speech "A lot of people say they may be too young, but I think they are just ahead of the game" and I couldn't agree more. Age is nothing but a number and I hope and pray they have a lifetime of happines together. They had a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding, my only wish for them is that they have a marriage more beautiful than their wedding!

GOREGOUS rings!

I think every wedding party (girls side) wants the "Bridesmaid's" photo
